Day 1

welcome to Mashhad

Arrival in Mashhad, meet and greet, transfer to hotel. City tour of Mashhad, the capital of Khorasan province in northeast Iran and the second-largest city in the country, Mashhad is best known for its beautiful pilgrimage shrine of Imam Reza. The shrine was built on the site of the village of Sanabad, where Imam Reza died in 818 AD (some sources say 817). On our first day we will also visit: Imam Reza Holy Shrine and Gohar Shad Mosque, have lunch in Shandiz village. In the afternoon visit Khajeh Rabi Tomb and free time for shopping.
Day 2

Meet the great Persian poet

On our second full day in the beautiful city of Mashhad, you will be going to Toos, visit the mausoleum of Ferdowsi the great Iranian epic poet as well as a sightseeing tour in the urban areas of Mashhad where you can witness breathtaking scenes of thousands of pilgrims in one of the holiest cities of Shiite Islam.

welcome to Shahrud

Early morning drive to the city of Shahrud, an afternoon tour of Amirieh and the city tour.

Day 4

Meat the Old Mosque

Excursion to Bastam to visit Bayazid Bastami Tomb then drive to Damghan, in this city, you will visit the oldest mosque of Iran which is Tarikhaneh, the ancient city of Hecatompylos, tappeh Hessar and Aramgah-e- Pir Almdar round tower.

Road to Capital

Morning drive to Tehran. Transfer to the hotel. Afternoon at your leisure.

Day 6

A full-day tour of the capital, Tehran. Starting with a walking tour through the old part of Tehran and visiting the old Gate of Tehran, Golestan Palaces. We will then get more familiar with Persian Carpets at the Carpet Museum.

Day 7

A road to history

Drive to Qazvin, half-day city tour of Qazvin to visit Jame Mosque, Chehel Sotun Edifice

Day 8

Soltanieh Dome

Drive to Zanjan via Soltaniyeh. The city of Soltaniyeh, the capital of the llkhanid dynasty, was founded by the Mongols. Situated in the province of Zanjan, Soltaniyeh is one of the outstanding examples of the achievements of Persian architecture and a key monument in the development of its Islamic architecture. The octagonal building is crowned with a 50 m tall dome covered in turquoise-blue faience and surrounded by eight slender minarets. It is the earliest existing example of the double-shelled dome in Iran. Upon arrival to Zanjan in the afternoon, we will visit Rakhtshoor-khaneh, Jameh mosque, its two pleasant teahouses, and fantastic bazaar.

Day 9

welcome to Tabriz

In the morning we will drive to Tabriz. In the afternoon you will have a half-day city tour of Tabriz to visit Blue mosque, Shah-Goli Pavilion, Azerbaijan museum, and its magnificent bazaar. 

Day 10

A village in the heart of the mountain

Drive to the magnificent village of Kandovan, a Rocky Architectural Oddity in Iran. Kandovan is an 'off the touristy track' hub in Iran that is not only famous for its scenic beauty but also its uniqueness that comes from the fact that many of its homes have been made in caves located in cone-shaped rock-formation. Thus making the complete village look like a gigantic termite colony.

Day 11

The End

In the early morning, we will transfer to Tabriz international airport for departure flight. Or if you want a departure from Tehran, you should have a domestic flight to Tehran and transfer to IKA airport for departure.
